A small chain based out of Seattle decided to open a location in Houston – yay for us! I first tried real Ramen in New York last year, and we have been keeping an eye out for a local restaurant. A place opened up on Washington (Ninja Ramen) which was pretty good, but not very accessible with parking.

This place had several tables, plenty of parking, and a good location. The prices were reasonable.

My favorite part about Ramen is the flavor-infused boiled egg. Yumm-o. We also ordered freshly cooked dumplings. Personally, I prefer Ramen over Pho because I prefer the spices and other flavors. But both can be very refreshing depending on your mood! The flavor of the meat is delicious, and I especially love noodles and always have!

Overall, it was a win!

Another Yelp search. I’d come across it a few times but we had never eaten there. There are also 2 other locations in Houston.

This was a great little find. The decor was really cool and there was plenty of seating (at least on a Tuesday night). The service was very fast and friendly. If I was Vegan or Gluten Free, I would go here often because almost everything on the menu could accommodate.

The Vietnamese egg rolls were freshly cooked and really tasty – such a yummy crispy outside. The accompanying fish sauce was the perfect flavoring. I ordered the “Stir Me Crazy” with those delicious flat egg noodles. The shitake mushrooms and fresh snap peas were great, but I could have skipped the bamboo (not a big fan in general). Andrew inhaled his Super Duper Fried Rice. They used awesome wide bowls. The serving sizes were fairly reasonable too, especially for the price.

The fresh limeade was soooo good. I could have taken my own pitcher with me. We each ordered a pre-made Tres Leches to take home. Can’t really go wrong with those.
