At this point, I have eaten at Good Dog a few times. It started and continues as a food truck, but they expanded to a standing restaurant a couple of years ago. I’m not usually one to like mustard, pickles, or raw onions – most of the standard toppings on Hot Dogs – but this place changes my mind. All the hot dogs are top quality beef and the condiments are made in store (including the delicious Siracha Ketchup). They also have handmade chips and fries which are great for sharing. My current favorite is the Ol’Zapata. The jalapeno relish has turned me around to relish.
The restaurant itself is an old house but there is a fair amount of seating inside, and we’ve taken our dog to sit outside on the patio. There is not much parking, unfortunately. Overall, this is a place any age can enjoy. The menu has unique flavors, good for the adventurous or not so adventurous eaters.
